Karl Yerkes develops computational musical instruments for ensemble performance as a PHD student at the Media Arts and Technology Program at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle. He is a Robert W. Deutsch Foundation fellow and Artist in Residence at the SETI Institute.
